Hey guys,

Been looking at a lot of pedals using a top plate for their graphics/labels rather than putting them directly on the enclosure. I've been looking at something like what greer does by using a two colour plastic plate or card and etching through. Anyone doing this? Any ideas or help on equipment or materials to get started? It's all a bit new to me but seems like it could be a great way to go.

Thanks again for all your help in advance.

Welcome to the forum :) I've used and seen others use thin wood panels, I like those as they're easily engraved and cut with a laser. I also see lots of people using PCBs as panels with great success, seems to be a great way to easily get a professional look. Design the front panel at the same time as your PCB for the circuit and make sure the holes line up with your hardware.
