I've built a Tonepad Rebote 2.5. I'm getting only one repeat, no matter what the repeat knob is set to. Other than that, it functions perfectly  :P

I don't even know where to begin to troubleshoot this problem! Is it a voltage thing? Something with the IC? Does it need more power than 9v?

Thanks in advance for any help and guidance!

The delay chip (PT2399) runs off of 5v. So definitely don't raise the voltage or else you'll risk cooking the regulator. It was designed for 9v.

Have you verified your capacitor and resistor values or even tried another PT2399?

Kinda has to be on this path?

Yup, somewhere on that path is a bad connection or a short.

Thank you, everyone! You have given me direction for checking. I'll look into it this week, and report back. Thanks again!
