Old idea. Anyone done this before?  :icon_mrgreen:
Made several drawings, but never done it.

Make 82k bias resistors 68k to come closer to original circut input impedance.. :icon_wink:

Closest thing I know is the Buzz-alike, that uses an opamp and one Ge transistor. Buzzaround is "like" a mkIII..... sort of.....

hi,
I am not an expert by any means in that matter, but from what i have read :
- the Tonebender III is similar to the Fuzzface...
- ... and the Lovetone Big Cheese is supposed to be "a fuzzface wrapped with an Op amp input stage and an Op amp output gain stage".
Could it be worth investigating?

It was called "buzzaround-alike" and I can confirm that it is a nice circuit, compares well with buzzaround clones. You can find it at the place formerly know as "the other forum."
