Strange problem Need Help

just built a EHX double muff. used bc 547c instead of bc550b. when hooked up to my test box v2. nothing when engaged. when I use the probe hooked to my test box, I got good signal at out put of pedal. I found out if I put a 100nf cap at the output of pedal from m1 B100k pin 2 then to test box works fine. checked my test box with a tone generator, the test box passed. So I'm pretty sure it is not the test box. Been going over this for the last 4 hours. I don't know where to look any more. please help before i go insane.

Problem solved. it was my test amp. it was working but not right.
