Wiring two effects in one enclosure including a Klon clone

Hi,

I am building a two effects in one pedal, the first effect is a king of tone clone (single) and the other one is a klon clone. I took the layouts from sabrotone. I am now at wiring the two boards in my enclosure, I want to use the two effects in series with two 3PDT switches which is easy with the diagram from the same site (see picture).

On this diagram, the boards only have an input and an output each (apart from dc, ground, etc.) which is pretty simple to wire. My problem is, with the Klon, in addition to the input and output, 4 wires are going from the board to the 3PDT (on position H1, L1, N1 and L29 on the 2nd picture) which makes it confusing for me because it's no longer working with the wiring diagram from the first picture I joined.

How should I wire the Klon to the 3PDT to make it work in series with the other effect and the other 3PDT switch ?

Thanks in advance for your answers !

Hello,

They are both showing different ways of bypassing the circuit, the Klone just being a variation on the appropriate way to do it for that circuit.

Assuming you are putting the Klone in the right position of your first picture, you basically want to erase everything but a single input wire coming from the output of the first circuit, and a single output wire going to the output jack.

In this case, the one orange wire coming from the right most column, middle lug, connects to input on the Klone board at J1. The orange output wire that is connected to the output jack in the first picture connects to SW2 in the Klone bypass  switch as described on the layout. Connect the rest of the wiring as it tells you to do on the Klone layout.

It won't be true bypass, but a Klone isn't.

Hey thank you so much for your help mth5044.

So I modified the layout, would that be a good way of doing it ?
