I've built several of these pedals for people to the original specs, using mostly Russian Ge transistors. Sourcing Germanium is getting old fast though, I'd love to figure out a silicon version.

This circuit is different enough from mki/mkii that I can't correlate the usual mods people do for silicon.

Apart from using silicon PNP transistors of similar gain (80ish for Q1/Q2, 100-120ish for Q3) what might you expect this circuit to need? I would expect to probably play with the Tone circuit but I'm not sure what else.

It looks like the TB side is a MKIII/IV version.
For an NPN Si version, think all you'd need to do, really, is flip C5 and start messing around with transistors until you find a combination that sounds rad. There are Vox-branded Si MKIIIs that sound fantastic and use the same board/components as the Ge versions.

The topology is a little different, but board-member mac laid out a Si MKIII that's bee sitting in my 'to-do' bookmarks for a while:
