You're using the little compass logo and everything?  Is that allowed?
Sounds great.

Disclaimer: the following is not legal advice, just me talking out if my ass. Anyway, I *think* that as long as you only build something for your personal use, trademark law does not apply in most jurisdictions. However, selling this or (possibly) even giving it away is definitely exposing you to potential civil court action from the trademark holder.
My dry, sweaty foot had become the source of one of the most disturbing cases of chemical-based crime within my home country.

A cider a day keeps the lobster away, bucko!

Don't tell Marshall...I built an 18 Watt, and popped the white plastic "Marshall" logo off a practice amp and put it on the front.

I don't know if I should hide it in a bury tube or something...

Also not a lawyer, but it's not clear that AM trademarked that compass.  And either way, I think the tougher issue is copyright. This would be a derivative work, and whether or not it's protected is a gray area (my guess is it's not). In a hypothetical (and absurd) situation where AM sued them there's a chance a court would say it's not "transformative" and therefore not protected. They might also say, especially if it was never sold, that because it's not commercial it's fair use. But usually the latter needs to be paired with something else that protects it (e.g. education, parody).

And it looks great! Nice work.

I build pedals as a hobby in a strictly personal interest, I don't think it's a problem that I used their logo for a personal project. I really liked the way they thought of the design, that's why I used it :)
