dead end fx tatiana momentary switch confusion - SOLVED

hey all,
i've been trying to figure out whether i can just use a spdt switch instead of a dpdt switch for the momentary function of the pedal.

the thing is, while the BOM says a DPDT, it's shown to be wired as a spdt, but there are holes for all six lugs of the switch. and i've seen it wired up in images both ways... though the ones from the defx crew only used the first three holes.

any thoughts?

The BOM seems to be the only place asking for DPDT. Yes, it should work with a single pole one, the other 3 holes aren't connected to anything (MOMENTARY_B is just floating).
