I'll bet you a virtual sausage that we have someone in our ranks who can get it smaller than a TO-92 package by point-to-pointing SMD components. Volunteers?

Very small layout, indeed. But it's not so easy share holes with two legs.
In some veroboard layouts I built, when I found jumpers with shared holes, I use cut legs I stocked coming from some resistors that Tayda sold a few of years ago, with thinner legs. That was easy.
