Open source, DIY tape echo

Yo.

We've released our open source tape echo project today, take a look:

It's made from a cheap walkman-like cassette player, 3D printing and some other bits and bobs. All the source is available, including STL files, gerber and CAD in step format. There are build instructions on our website https://www.indifferentengine.com.

I was quite keen to be very upfront about what the pedal is and what it isn't, and what is involved in building it before people go and give it a try. Hopefully some people will get involved though, I'm looking forward to seeing other peoples builds and modifications. There's a lot of room to add features still. It could also be re-used to make other things, like cassette synths.

Massive project, very impressive. can tape switch be pcb mounted though?

That would be preferable, however we went with a panel-mount switch as we couldn't find a reliable/affordable source of 3PDT toggle switches that were PCB mount.
