Accutronics digilog reverb brick question

How do I know if my BTDR -2H is burnt or otherwise unusable.

I think you will want to get the data sheet...
look at the typical circuit, where you put the regulated 5v, where you put signal in, where it comes out...
You probably can leave the opamps (buffers/ mixers) out... Some one else maybe pitch in on that. They are not buffers, they boost a little(?)
and try it out with a signal
+5v (regulated!) to pin 1, Power ground pin 2, 3 input, 4 signal ground, 5 and 6 are outputs.

The input opamp on the example circuit provides bias, you can't just put an audio signal into the input.
