combining two simple pedal circuits

Hello! First time poster here, forgive me for any noobish questions.

I have two simple pedals which i soldered together according to schematics that I found online.

Ive found that I only ever use the pedals in series with one another and Im not so interested in them as separate units so I thought it might be fun to try and combine them within the same housing.

I have a number of questions I was hoping someone could help me answer as to how I would go about doing this:

1. If I just wanted to simulate having one pedal plugged straight into the next, can I simply take out the corresponding input/output jacks and connect the wires?

2. One of the pedals uses a DPDT footswitch (P-H498) the other uses a 3PDT LED footswitch
(P-H590-B). Is there a simple way I could rewire this so that I can remove the dpdt switch and have both circuits turn on using the 3PDT footswitch?

3. Since these circuits were both separate pedals, they both are wired to take separate 9v dc inputs. If I wanted to have only a single 9v input, is it as simple as moving the wires from one jack over to the appropriate spots on the other jack? How would you recommend doing this.

If theres something you think im missing or some reason this wont work the way im going about it, feedback is welcome.

Really, my goal is just to have a big pedal that combines these two circuits to use the same in/out, power input, and footswitch with the least amount of time spent de-soldering and whatnot.

If you need to see the circuit diagrams or a picture or something, I can provide that, im just not sure what the rules of the forum say about providing those. Its all publicly available online, but id rather just avoid any problems.

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

I think all three questions are yes.

Yes, you can just take pcb output from effect one and hardwire that to input on pcb effect 2.

Yes, you are going to use a single 3pdt, with one pole switching an LED on, and the other two switching jacks and in/out. There are lots of diagrams of how to do this...

Yes, you can just take the red and black wires from one of the DC jacks and attach them to the same place on the other jack. Caveat here is that effects that use batteries have that trick where the input jack is "TRS," with the ring shorting to ground one a jack is plugged in. In these cases the DC jack also has a switching function: when no jack is in it allows the battery red to supply power, where the jack is plugged in this connection is broken. Do you still need a battery?

I don't use batteries for pedals so im not too worried about losing that functionality.
