A possible EQ Idea?

Just came across these board(s) on Ali. Seems to be designed for HiFi systems, but according to its specs, it's working between 5V to 15V.

I just wonder without using the external AC/DC supplier, can I feed it with a regular 9V DC and make it work like an EQ pedal? Freq's seems rather nicely distributed and suitable for my needs at least (heavy metal guitarist here) IC's seem to be 4558 judged by the photos, so theoretically it should work. It's also stereo

IMHO, you'll put yourself in trouble..

Power supply seems to be a dual one..
Transformer 2X12VAC -> D1/D2/D3/D4 Bridge rectifier -> C1/C2 Reservoir caps -> 78XX / 79XX Regulators -> C3/C4 & D5/D6 LEDs -> +V / GND / -V (+/-15V) so you'll have to alter opamps bias configuration..
Can't say if it's easy or not 'cause I didn't manage to find op-amp side board..

When i feed with a regular 2 wired 9v dc, dont i feed it with basically +9v and - 9v?

No, you feed it with +9V and 0V.

Just note that, as tends to be the case with many things advertised on Ali Express, the price varies with the number of sliders.  The first pic that pops up may be 15 sliders, but the price is about 1-1/2x the price of 5 sliders.  Note as well that these are dual-ganged slider pots.
