EHX synth 9 mod

Hello all. Does anyone know how to make the EHX synth 9 pedal true bypass? Thanks for any help with this.

From what I understand, these pedals have stock buffered bypass which can mess with fuzz pedals afterwards. Don't know if it is necessary, but Analogman does this as one of their mod options on it.

I dunno.  While there ARE certain fuzzes that don't yield optimum tone when preceded by a buffer, there are infinitely MORE distorting pedals that couldn't care less if there was a buffer before or after them.  Seems to me the EHX pedal should maybe be hooked up to a loop selector.  That way you can bypass it completely when not in use, and you don't have to monkey around with the guts and risk compromising resale value.
