Just doing a search here regarding guitar synths and I didn't find much in the way of DIY stuff. Maybe there isn't a great deal of interest, but for anyone who is curious I posted on MEF about a winter project I'd been working on that works well. It's a straightforward, inexpensive build with a large range of sounds;

For those interested in DIY guitar synths, it's a good idea to explore online forums and communities for inspiration and guidance. You can also check out resources like the Vinyl Factory or audioXpress for step-by-step guides and tips on building your own synthesizer. These platforms offer a wealth of knowledge for both beginners and experienced builders. ---- spam link removed ----

I saw the Ethan Winer synth a while back on audioXpress but though it too complex for my needs - it's quite an involved build. The tracking and pitch accuracy seem to be pretty good, though.

Maybe it's me, but I don't see any other guitar synth projects there, and nothing turned up on Vinyl Factory - would you point me in the right direction with some specific links?

Probably not going to get much useful information from a bot...  :icon_neutral:   Shauna was only here to lay spam.

Yes, I realized it was spam to moment I submitted the reply. You know those cartoons where the character sprouts jack*ss ears?

That's me, that is.

Forum software even censors a commonly used name for a member of the donkey family.......

It's American software though, so you can say "arse" and "wanker" and it doesn't know what you're on about, lol! The developers had clearly never visited a British pub.

Lol.

But perhaps they visited a pub in Scunthorpe?   ;D
