Suggestions for an LFO with momentary Ramp circuit.

Hello. I've built a few kits and electronics projects and wanted to try bread boarding an idea I had for a ring mod.  I wanted to experiment with running my guitar into a passive ring modulator circuit and use a sine wave lfo as the carrier frequency. I am about to build a BYOC vb2 clone and I was thinking I could borrow the LFO part of the circuit and maybe it's ramp section too.  The only thing is it looks like the ramp side of the circuit controls the depth (amplitude?) of the LFO and not the rate. How would I modify the circuit so the ramp controls the rate?
