Aion Azimuth (Zen Drive Clone) - all pots scratchy

Pedal works great, sounds great, but all pots are scratchy. I haven't doused them with CRC or equivalent yet, as I think this is an electrical issue, not mechanical (dirty pots). Possibly related to grounding?

Any ideas?

not to grounding, but check all your cap's. This happens when DC leaks into the signal.

+1 agree. Check for shorts across C1, C3, C4, C5. Any of those could upset things.

I would also check the grounding, because *unless* C5 was bad, I don't see how the volume pot could be scratchy.

You guys are the best! Not a short, but a bad solder joint on one of the caps. All good now.
