Hello,
I'm looking for 2N5457 transistor for my orabge squezer. Is there anyone having it?
If not, can I try another transistor without losing the quality? which?

In Europe: https://www.musikding.de/navi.php?qs=2n5457
Although out of stock atm. You can ask for notification when back, or mail and ask about expected time back.

Googling 2N5457 equivalent seems to suggest J201.
Might depend on the context you are having it in. (Schematic?) But I leave that to others with deeper insights to comment.
"Should have breadboarded it first"

One more EU source, Retroamplis. Reliable and quick for me, knock on wood.

If you have the iron, skills and patience for it, get the SMDs with the fitting adapter, SOT23 to TO92. I like using SMD on adapters - price-wise they're often the (much) better choice, plus you get new components, not some 15 year old device that was in some bin for who knows what reason :)
