Octave Up for Bass?

Does anyone have any info for a DIY Bass Octave Up?

Take a guitar one that you like,  Change the highpass filter part.  This can mean reduce the input cap value.  

Yes reduce the input cap value.  Bass strings and pickups put out more fundmental signal than guitar pickups and strings.

This will depend on how hard you hit the strings and other things.  I would build an octave stock then i would try different input caps.
