Like what Pete said....

Is it possible to make this into a kind of stompbox that can be placed before the first effect pedal? That would be kinda cool I guess...

It's funny... In my Marshall DSL100 manual it states in big bold capital letters that the amp should not be used with cables longer than 30ft or something like that (could be metres)

Would making one of these things have any negative affect on me amp? If not I'm going to go for it....

Thanks guys...

To see what the consensus is on this one...as much as the bad I've heard about cable problems prompted me to spend on many nice Monster Cables...I wasn't using a curly cue, just yer basic music store info on the shrink wrap kind...I do remem being surprized at the very tangible difference.
It would seem if there were any capacitance discharge increase caused by the curly cord whipping around, the cap wouldn't produce any mechanically induced capacitance fluxuations.
There's probably a way to mimic that too, ..lol...see what you think of the Vintage cable simulator first I think.
