hi all,
I'm looking at building either a fender blues junior or pro junior, and not only am I looking for a little input as to which one to build, my main question is about some of the resistors in the power supply section

from the PT the leads for the tube plates is also where the light for power is, and around this there is a resistor from positive to ground and an identical resistor from negative to ground. they're marked as Fp47 1/2W.

So i know they're 47 ohms and rated at 1/2W but i have no idea about the Fp marking..

any help would be great,

thanks Trent

this is a REALLY wild guess, might be 'fireproof'! some resistors (i expect all, nowadays!) are guranteed not to flame, even when burning out thryu overload. I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually, I have some flameproof resistors right here, and they're nothing special except they're really big (Well, 3 watt, they're going to be really big) and they're a light blue color.

Anyone want any flameproof resistors?
