External bias control

Was just looking at Joe Gagan's external bias control thingy. I was about to just go put one together and noticed it was for PNP circuits.

Is there a problem with this being used with anything other than PNP circuits? I wouldn't have thought so but it is specified so I've got my doubts.

all that does is attenuate whatever tries to go through there, in either direction...
