i was wonderign for all the geniuses otu there.  i wanted to controll my buddys art processors volume control with my own volume pedal.. see he has the x-15 controller for his big art processor and i am borrowning the little one  for reverb and junk and anyway i wanted to know if it was possible to make a midi module that would transfer this data.. so i can alter pitch and delay and stuff in real time.

I am not one of the geniuses, and my advice is somewhat cheating kind of one, or just "easy way". Or the gadget that I suggest is not available anymore.

I have an oldish thing named "Pocket Pedal", made by Canadian company named Anatek. Dont know if it is still in business. However this cheap and plastic cased small wonderbox can do just that, you can connect an analog expression pedal or ordinary pot say 10k to it and the gadget translates it to midi control. There is dip switches on top of the unit so you can select some controller that it outputs. And there is another plug that you can connect a on/off switch to control start/stop of your seq or drum machine or portamento on off, (a footswitch maybe). But maybe these exist today, or you may find used one somewhere.
