Unfortunately this board has no way to upload photos. It would end up using huge amounts of disk space. Maybe this will change at some point (as I keep my finders crossed), but I wouldn't recommend holding any breaths until then.

In the meantime, you can upload the photos to a free site like http://www.freewebs.com and then make an HTML page there that load up the image. Once you have that, provide a link to that HTML page in your post. If you want a complete step-by-step, I will be happy to write one. :)

Many ISPs will give you a small web space. I’m assuming you use RoadRunner with a cable modem, which gives you 5 megs for your own home page which is a perfect place for photos.

Many hosts will only let you link to html pages and not to images directly. Just one thing to watch out for.

Take care,

Yahoo Photos will let you post for free.

Thanks Peter. The Wreck took some tweaking but it's getting there. It's got a lot of gain.
The HotBox is really nice sounding too.
I also made a MAtchless Spitfire that is not in the photo album (I should add it ) that probably is my favorite "guitar straight to amp" amplifier.it's so in your face and dynamic.
Anyways, don't want to bore you with OT stuff,
you also take care

I know this is a bit OT.. but, what cameras are people using? I have no experience with digital cameras (especially not macro close ups). What is needed if you wat to be able to read the chip types?

Fret Wire

Paul, mine is a Nikon Coolpix 2000, I paid $125. It's discontinued, but is on ebay all the time. Real easy to use. 5 different auto modes. One touch macro mode, really nice. The macro mode is great.  Myself, I just need to use better lighting. I usually end up doing photos at nite when I have something apart. Not the optimum time. I going to find the time to specifically re-shoot my gear. These are poor lighting with no tripod:

Just a few comments,

Digi cameras,

I bought my daughter a vivatar camera last year and it is fairly inexpensive and can pick up componant values easily.

The old kodak 2M pix cameras are also reasonable value (2nd hand)

The Fuzz Face:

As we know the humber of componants dosn't really matter, but you would need a damn good camera even to find the PCB in there.

The Matchless:

I saw a mention of a Spitfire clone (any further info available ?)

Regards,

Rob...

I got them downloaded to Yahoo...and have sent pictures from there by email...
