It seems that the .47uf and the 4.7k was put the other way around in the layout. Am I right? Also, what's the value of the resistor in the 2nd lug of the 50k pot in the optional bias control. Any other things in the schematic and/or in the layout that need to be corrected or were not stated explicitly?

The order of the .47uF and 4.7K doesn't matter. It will work either way.

The resistor is 1MEG. Hopefully you won't need the optional bias control.
