Though the BBD are sampling devices, they're not digital, as the value sampled is not "measured" and digitized and stored as a digital number, wich then is used to reconstruct the original value.

Also I have a Danelectro Hash Browns flanger and it's analog, using MN3208 and stuff like that. Sounds pretty bad anyway and would be a pain to mod.
