Ive built a few pedals from GGG site. Easy enough. However, the effects from runoffgroove ( great site by the way!) and most other sites, doesnt show all off board connections and im having a difficult time trying to figure out the order/pattern? All i want is to build every effect out there!!
So i guess the 1st start is to locate these links for wiring volume pots ect.( anything off board.? the 1st thing that has me stumped is how to wire the volume pot for the tube reamer (not screamer) and the same thing w the multi-face. All I want is a link and i can figure it out. Many have givin me a link to wire a 3pdt or dpdt, but i think i have figured that out. Sort of.

Anyway, thanks for any attempt to educate the newbie.

Pot wiring is pretty simple.  When I was first learning, I thought it was significantly more complicated than it really is.  You just need to decide what you want the pot to do.

In the Son of Reamer, the clockwise lug is connected to the .47uF cap.  The wiper (middle lug) is your circuit out, it will end up being connected to your stomp switch.  The counter-clockwise lug is connected to ground.

When the pot is turned fully to the right, the wiper will be getting a signal across almost no resistance at all.  Very loud.  When the pot is turned fully to the left, the wiper will get the effect signal after it has passed the full length of the resistor.  Very quiet.

GEO is really required reading.  He has it all there.  Most of it won't be useful right now, but the first part of this article should come in handy.
