making a signal flow in one direction only...

I have one guitar signal (A) which joins to (C) and to another guitar signal  (B). But I don't want the the (B) signal to go to (C) so I need to make the connection from (A) to (B) a one way street so that the (B) signal doesn't go from (B) to (A) to (C). does that make sense?

Any help greatly appreciated!

if I understand what you're asking, a simple buffer between A and B would work

A connects to C and to the buffer
output of the buffer connects to B

without more information about the application, this may or may not work

Jeremy, Thanks for the buffer suggestion, I will try that

I have a stereo signal (A) and (B). (A) I want to send to a DI (C). Then I want to mix (A) and (B) together.  But I want to avoid sending the (B) signal to the D.I (C).

ah, yeah it should work fine, but depending on how you mix A and B, you might want to run B though an identical buffer if it isn't buffered already to avoid problems with impedance

I think I just asked this question.  An op amp with unity gain would work just fine.
