Can holdown resistors be mounted directly across the lugs of the input/output jacks or do they need to be mounted on the F/X board itself?

How about at the in/out lugs on the stomp switch to ground?

Thanks!

You may notice some highs get rolled off if you start putting them on the jacks... a capacitro from signal path to ground on the 'outside of the BP switch.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

The effect in question is a BMP from Tonepad....a few highs knocked off may not be a bad thing! I knew caps would roll off some frequencies...I am just looking for the easiest way to control the popping during switching.

Thanks for the incredibly FAST response !!!

They need to be on the effects-side of the switch, not the jack-side, or else they can't do their job.
