Boss DD-6 Gain

Hello all,
I've got a Boss DD-6 digital delay and I'm trying to figure out a mod to reduce the input gain slightly. I'm using it with a line level input and it clips slightly at max volume. I know it'd be a lot easier to adjust the gain before it gets to the DD-6, but of course that would be too simple  :D

So does anyone have a schematic or looked at the PCB? I saw two SMD resistors (103) on the input path (one for the A, one for the B), I tried increasing them but that didn't seem to help. I'd like to reduce the gain to about 3/4 of the original. Thanks!

I had that same problem with my DD-3 when I usad it after a Tri-AC as my live-rig..I'm guessing the DD-6 is very different from the DD-3 but you can read what I did in an old thread called "boss dd-3 two in one" or something like that...

I have a boss DD-2 which is he same as the DD-3 but the parts were different and Boss needed an excuse to switch parts I guess. Anyway I don't have this problem of clipping, not even when using an LPB in front of it at maximum blast. Check if your battery is still good because it does do this when it's battery is running out. Digital delays are best run from a wallwart by the way. :?

My DD-6 is run via power supply. I know it works fine with guitar, just the line level is a bit too hot for it. I printed out the DD-3 schematic, I'm gonna see if the input stage is the same in the DD-6. It looks similar so far from my memory, just x2 because of the stereo inputs, but I have to look at the PCB again.

Strange. Does it work better when your guitar volume is turned down a little?
