Man, Those sneaky bastards at Boss! I just cracked open my new Boss CE-5 chorus… and what did I find… a BBD analog chorus like the schematic. NO! It’s digital! I’ve been waiting for them to replace the CE-5 with a digital CE-6 (like they did with the BF-2 flanger). But no, they went and changed it without any notice!

so...i opened mine,and it has the bbd chip...i'm lucky then...well,i bought it ten years ago...works like new...

little while ago, s.o. offered MXR PCBs (populated, NOS) for some BBD-based pedal (?) which had PT2399 mods on them to replace the BBDs....
(on ebay, that was)
