what's wrong with the jaycar sockets exactly?  i use the $4.50 ones that look like they're neutrik, i've never checked to see if they are.  they seem to be really good.  the ones that come in a lil plastic bag and have two red washers.  do they fall apart after a while or something?

the other ones with the huge nut definately suck, hopefully you mean those ones and i haven't invested hundreds in crappy sockets  :/
