well judging from what i've heard, ben, you take out the buffers so you have your high impedence signal from the pickups go into your non-buffered effects (like a fuzz, which needs high impedence, i believe).  unless of course, you put the buffered at the end of the chain, although i think certain FFs dont like buffers anywhere in the chain, temperamental bastards.

Well OK, judging from that I guess it depends on you needs :) I don't use a FF and most of my effects are pretty well-behaved. If it were me I'd leave the buffer in, but hey, that's me ;)
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

If you remove the buffers, you essentally have the Clark Gainster or Menatone Red Snapper!  :shock:
