Hey guys...

Where can I find some good biasing articles and tutorials?
(or - I want to learn more about designing!)

thnx :)

Dan.

and AMZ...or setup trimpots here there or everywhere...lol
I like sometimes to start with the drain or collector resistance/
following the voltage guides from GEO...what the different transistors need to be seeing to operate
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Oops... you're right... biasing trannies (of all kinds) mainly, but tube and what-not is also on my list :)

P.S. How do know what voltages I should get?

The base should be a Si diode drop above the emitter (0.6 - 0.7v). Start there :)
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

Careful there, tubes are a whole other beast, and a high-voltage one at that. I think you would need to be more specific on what circuit and what transistor you want to bias to get much useful information.

First of all - thnx guys for responding...

But what I was aiming for is articles, lessons, tutorials and all that, considering biasing and trannies usage, availiable on the web... do you know of such
