Simple boost circuits?

right, for an electronics project at school i am going to be making a guitar pedal

i have a fuzz diagram for a fuzz face, and i intend adding a millenium bypass to this too (which i also have a diagram for)

now heres the fun part, i am intending sticking two filters on the input, so half the signal is unaffected (the bass) and the other half is put through the fuzz, so before this i would want to stick a boost type circuit to boost it nd keep the signals the same after they are split. this would need to be completely transparent, just boost the signal, no tone controls or anything

anyone got any schematics for a boost circuit to do this? preferably as simple as possible so i can concentrate on the rest of the effect

so any circuits i could use? or any opinions of my plan in general?

See that link up there that says "AMZ?"

There you will find a couple of very nice boost schematics.

Also nice is the EH LPB-1. The "schematics" link from this forum will get you that one.

I think you're talkng about a Mosfet Booster.
 Maybe Jfet.
 LPB's add some 'character'.
