You can always 'agree to disagree' and move on. In the 'free samples' thread a couple of weeks ago, Gez said that he was against ripping these companies off in his opinion, and we discussed the topic, defending our points in a normal fashion. In the end we just all said 'fair nuff' and talked about something else.

Censoring doesn't help. My father-in-law has a website about campings in France. He also has a forum there and the flaming is absolutely awful. He moderates his board by deleting posts, and then people get pissed because their posts have been removed. Full-grown adults arguing like little children. I was glad that we don't have that kind of atmosphere but I saw it almost go down the drains, hence this topic 8) This forum is largely self-moderating while we continue to debate in a mature fashion (this sounds wierd coming from my 16-year-old mouth  ) and not argue like idiots.

I completely agree. As a personal example, when I was still living with my parents I was kept very short, and I was miserable. Now I live elsewhere and I have space to do what I want, withing reason, and I feel great about it. Same here, no-one's going around deleting half of everything and everyone is happy.

:D I also want to thank everyone here, for their friendliness and community spirit. It was great being a noob with people taking me seriously. ;) Thanks all!
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.
