Well, got off my butt today and etched a ton of boards and ran out of jacks for everything I wanted to finish. I did however finish the Green Ringer. WOW. Simply put, it worked better than I could have imagined. When I perfed the thing out, I wasn't that impressed, but that probably had something to do with some bad connections here n' there. As a test, I pumped the signal from my Schecter 006 Elite through the Ringer/BSIAB/Crate 1200H/4x12 Cab. Sounded great! My cat was simply intrigued by the sound till I hit the 24th fret on the B string =P  . When I slightly hit the string at that point, the octave was all that I could hear but the cat ran for cover lol. Quick build and 1 happy tinkerer.

Next up was GGG's Fuzz Face - NPN Si. I built this for a friend of mine and used BC548C's both with a Hfe of about 480. Warning! Turn the pots down on this thing before firing up your amp with it on 5 and hitting the opening A chord on "Highway To Hell"!!! I about deafened myself not realizing the Vol pot was maxed. It did however work wonderfully and was an insanely simple build. Tip for you guys starting out, the pinouts for the 548 are reversed in comparison to the 2N3904/2N5088.

Both were built first time, worked first time. On to the next project! Now... where did I put those 1/4" jacks...

8) Cool. I might have to build a green ringer myself
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.
