Hello, and of course a question on 9V versus 12V biasing...

My compliments on the forum and Aron's site. Fantastic resource.

I'm electronically ignorant and a newbie to boot...keep that in mind please!

Anyway, I've put together a little LM386 mini-amp and found that I really like the sound running it on 12 V instead of 9 V. Now, I also really like sticking a boost and a couple of flavors of fuzz in the same enclosure and using a rotary switch to select the circuit I want to play through (I've done this with a couple of other projects).

And...of course I want to run the boost and fuzzes off the same power supply as the LM386, ie 8 AA batteries when I'm down by the river and a 12 V wall wart when I'm playing at home.

So, can you guys give me some tips on how the biasing resistors in simple circuits--bazz fuss, electra-distortion, Don Tillman's JFET boost, that kind of thing--would need to be changed for 12 V operation? Just a general idea of the direction to go would be good.
