1S158*... Desperately seeking susan

I can't find any info at all on these diodes via google save 1 datasheet.... in japanese.  Anyone have any ideas based on the part number, or any datasheets?

Oh wait-apparently it's a "General Purpose switching Diode".  Anyone have any more common "General Purpose switching Diodes"?

How about a 1N914? Yep, that's a general purpose switching diode.  There you go, Colin.
