The two Jfets on the Orange Squeezer Compressor...
I would like if someone could give me the pins from top to bottom looking at the schematic...it looks as though they are oriented the same way [one in front of the other], I can find the gates N/P, if this is the case, are the drains or sources toward the top of the schematic?
 Thanks!

Sounds pretty good, might even be working.
Pretty hard to say, but with the Nurse Quacky Env. dectector on it, the sweep is modified.
Will this thing work with the transistors in either way?
I'm sorry, the Jfets on the schematic look perfectly symmetrical, how do you tell up from down on them? I'm sure I missed something in Schemmo Reading 101.
They're in such an unusual position [non amp mode] I'm having trouble figureing out what they do, or which way they are to be connected.

For 2N5457 FETs, if you are looking at the flat side with the pins pointing down, the pins are drain - source - gate, going from left to right.  This is true for Motorola, Fairchild, and ON versions of that transistor.

These pins are generally labelled 1, 2, and 3.  Unfortunately, I found many datasheets which show them as if one was looking at the transistor in cross-section.  Unless you know in advance what the angle of viewing is or know something about what they want "1" to mean, you can't tell from those diagrams whether the view shown is looking "up" at the transistor from the pins into the epoxy, or whether it is looking "down" from the top of the transistor into the epoxy.

Of the two transistors has one leg going to ground. The 'opposite' [other side of the Jfet] leg goes to a 2k4 which goes to the gate and points beyond to it's right.
I know where the Gates are and where they go. I need to find one confirmed [it's probly right, there I just can't see it] Drain or Source.
Right now I have the  Source of the 'dead end' [on the left] Jfet connected to ground, and I'm following suit with the one on the right.
Nurse Quacky does respond quite differently [slower sweep], I know how nicely subtle and sweet these OS's are, with no real 'squash' to it, it can be hard to tell if it's operating properly or not.
