Well
It is the first time I use it and the thing doesn't do it. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong cause I had better results with transparencies.
If anyone has some tips to make this work I would be very grateful

Thanks
Carlos

Carlos,

First, you must thoroughly clean and scrub the board.  It must be absolutely spotless and grease/oil free, or your PnP transfer will fail.

The best procedure is to use a scotchbrite pad or steel wool.  Super fine (400-600 grit wetsanding) sand paper will work also.  Scrub the board until it is very shiny and bright copper.  It must be completely grease free.  I use acetone to wipe the board down, but others have had good luck with Bon Ami or Comet type cleansers.

Do not touch the copper after this point!  Hold the board by it's edges.

Preheat the iron.  I set it to right where the steam setting begins (it may be different on your iron).  Secure the PnP to the board with tape, or if you are feeling lucky, lay it on the board.  Others have reported good luck with preheating the board before laying the PnP sheet on it.

Now, lay a piece of paper over the board and iron away for several minutes, but do not press too hard, and keep the iron moving.  Look at the board after three or four minutes, and look for the traces to have an appearance of pulling off of the PnP transfer material.   Iron it just a bit longer for good measure if you are unsure, and then cool the board before removing the film.

Look for any voids or bad transfer areas and fill those with sharpie ink before etching.

I hope that this helps.

I hope you used the 'correct' side.
