My new WAH mod idea WORKS!!!!!!!

As you can see im REALLY excited!,

Maybe somebody else came up with this before but still i LOVE IT cuz it was an accident!....
i have 2 wah pedals a Dunlop GCB-95 and a Guitar Research wich i got for like $20 cuz my friend works for Sam Ash.... but anyways, i wasnt using any cuz i @#$%ed them up so i decided to give them a shot, now the crybaby was DEAD but the guitar research wah could be brought to life again, so i started modding the wah and now you can make it sound anyway u want! its great and the mod i did was one that i havent seen anywhere online... here it is

you see theres a 82Kresistor in parallel with a 4.7u cap right by the inductor and the 33K res, on the crybaby the resistor is a 82k but on the VOX is a 100k so i thought "maybe i could use a pot there"and i did! i had 100k linear pot and used it, now once i did it i could hear a big change on the sound, but if u go lower than 11 O'clock on the pot the sound goes away no sounds at all, so the idea is to use a 39K resistor in series with this 100k pot so that when i lower it the sound doesnt die but stays at a diferent level, im telling if u leave the rocket at half way you can actually use this new pot as a filter! its like a new WAH pot it sounds almost like the pot of the wah.... i also changed the 33K resistor for a 39K if u wana try the same thing

anyways i really wanted to share this with u guys, specially since i did it with a cheap ass wah pedal (wich i changed some of the caps and resistors cuz they were the blue resistors and green caps) the next step would be to use a FASEL inductor the color on this thing is great too, its like STAINDLESS.

Good idea.  You have tweaked the bias on the transistor.  It sounds like it mostly effects the wah's symmetry in its distortion...perhaps changes in gain change the effective feedback pole changing the center frequency.

All that mumbo jumbo to say that's cool.  I'm glad it worked out and did something unique with your wah.

 Congratulations !!!
 I have only a very sketchy mental picture of what you've got, pressure on a sensor activates the wah sweep...very cool stuff !!
 I've come up with some plans and wahs that are complicated and time consuming ways to your own wah case, trying for simple and quick.
 This one seems like it *actually be could be done fairly simple and quick.

Great Idea ! I have like 5 pots throughout mine - I have MY perfect wah- so much control! Every place theres a trimmer from the  MOD WAH at GGG I placed a pot there and drilled a hole in the case. I have ab output buffer, 3pdt w led true bypass, red fasel, power jack, and a switch to choose between 2 inductors, a 1p5t cap selector. Not to mention the fancy polyest..caps ect.. MAN it feels good to have so much control and variety!!!

thanks, it actually makes the sound of the wah louder and CLEAR like CLEANER as u go to full resistance
