A chorus in the feedback loop is a lot of fun too! 8)

For some really wild stuff.... add a pitch shifter to the loop with a chorus.

(never having fooled with one...) Can you set it up for delay and then chorus or vibrato just the feedback loop? Every loop get processed more and more and it finally get completely discombobulated after enough repeats. ;)

Not just only the feedback loop but it doesn't matter. Turn the regen up enough - play a note and you get exactly what you described.
