if you had to pick only three fx what would they be

od/dist
5 (31.3%)
eq
0 (0%)
compression
2 (12.5%)
wah
3 (18.8%)
tremmolo
1 (6.3%)
weird noise pitch shifty thing
3 (18.8%)
sampler [20seconds]
2 (12.5%)

so i am lookin at makin a analog truebypass three module pedal all ina 1590b or bb enclosure.

so heres waht i was thinking

like wah dist  and compression [not in that order nesecarrily]  but the modules i was thinkin about was as follows

od/dist
eq
compresion
wah/movable freq sweep
tremolo
weird noise pitch thingy
sampler

so what do you think

my first choice was

wah comp dist

and then

dist tremelo noise

what would      u use of these fx listed.

in a three pack

Comp->Dist->Comp is really really cool for noisy feedbacky sounds.

White noise generator->wah sounds great.

ODs can go well with EQs, but that's boring.

The pitch noise thing should probably go alone or just along with some other crazy effects.

Sampler also probabyl by itself.

Damn, can only put in one pedal...
For me it would have to be OD, Wah, and Compression. Very simple, sound good, and go well together...

i think i will offer a hammond D box too with 6 buttons on it. and 12 - 15 knobs dual expression jacks and six fx too

Sic

compression, tremelo, and sampler... these are the kinds of things that i would use as a "tasteful addition" and not something that i would have on all the time...

having all three in one box would save alot of space, and time... you could call it Neo-Polotin... have one Strawberry colored, One Vanilla colored and one Chocolate Colored...

Lol, i love your crazy ideas Ansil, it always gets my brain juices flowing...

e-mail me sometime man, we got lots to talk about ;)

OD  >  DIST/FUZZ  >  PHASER

Just my opinion,  Generally what I use,  not particularly in that order.

Peace!

I could surely use :

wha -> od/dist -> modulation (chorus/flanger/phase/delay).

That would make a killer module. Another option would be a comp instead of a wha. I think of doing two flavors like :

Classic rock: wha -> od -> phase

Jack of all trades : comp -> od -> chorus/delay

What do you say?

Pd: Ansil, please pm me if you are still interested in that pcb stuff.
Cut it large, and smash it into place with a hammer.

overdrive, tremelo, delay.....

everything is better with these friends....

I think a wah - distortion - tremolo module sounds cool, but what about a module with three noise effects?

Ansil

i would like to get into the delay, but right now i am just doing lofi sampling i have a looper in the process but it was mainly my thing..

so i think i will try a coulpe of different things and see what my buddy thinks.

i now get him to do all my samples cause he owns the little recorder i was using. so i should have new clips up soon.. as well as the new website.

i was thinkin of compression dist delay.  the dist is a switchable one with a toggle switch so it has a single stage or dual stages.

I'd go Wah, distortion and maybe a weird pitch shifty thing although I don't even own one  Please let me know when building one of these is easy.

hammond 1590B 6-10bucks
three tpdt switches  18bucks
three leds.  1 buck

board from futurlec..   5bucks.  [didn't get that many made]

6 pots  6bucks

15bucks in jacks and caps and chips transistors, inductors

an hour putting it together.   20$

hmm if i can get some more boards done i might do a kit version.

its not that hard, once you got the schematic for each section down to 1" square.
