What would be a suitable substitute for MPF102 fet (I'm from Finland)
when building a Runoffgroove Ruby?

IIRC, the mpf102 is used as a buffer, so you can sub it with almost any other fet (maybe not a j201, but many others will do).

Check the faq for subs, but you can try bf245a, 2n5457/58, etc.
Cut it large, and smash it into place with a hammer.
