I figured it out on my own! (sort of) DIY TSA/Krok content.

Anyhow, I have been delving further into the DIY thing the past month or so.  Thanks to this site and all the cool people I have been learning so much! Anyhow, I have been putting together a TSA/Krok with an LED indicator.

Well, I have been looking high and low for the proper diagram/schem, but no one seemed to have it.  The one that someone finally directed me to did not work so I started fresh on the drawing board.  I realized that I have a E13 warp wah which is essentially the same wiring (with no LED).  So I open her up and diagram the wiring which is fairly simple.  Then, I checked the generic 3Pdt wiring for LED and circuit for TB.  The wheels started turning and before you know it I put together my TSA/Krok with LED indicator and it is working great.  Then, I cram a battery into the case and screw it all down.  I bring it up to show my wife, who isn't too impressed, and I leave a patch cable into the in and out so the LED lights up.  Within a minute or two (while I am resting on the laurels of my latest achievement) the enclosure starts to get kind of hot... I take it back downstairs to try it out again and it won't work anymore!  The LED lights up, but the feedback loop isn't working anymore.  I get no sound when I switch to the loop side of the switch. :(

There isn't any real circuitry in there.  Could I have fried the potentiometer?  I dunno...

Any ideas would be helpful...
I am noob...

All I can guess is some sort of a grounding problem.  Perhaps you're letting your battery positive touch the enclosure (which is presumably chassis-grounded), which could make the battery hot, maybe meaning a hot enclosure.

Thanks for responding Colin.  When going back through to check the wiring I found one of the solid core wires had snapped in half and wasn't making a connection.  It's working now.

Thanks!
