hi guys, just made a tube screamer for my friend, amazingly it worked straight out of the iron. but there are subtle difference between mine and his.
his sounds more bassy, highs less refined.
mine sounds more trebby, highs are clearer, slightly lesser gain and less bassy.

could it be the resistors ?
i used 0.1% vishay metal film resistors, compared to his 1% metal film resistors. mine uses more copper as jumper tracks as his uses the ends of resistor wires as jumpers.

some ques that i'd like to ask

what difference will it make if i cascade 2 screamers together? (he took his back home so i couldnt try)
more gain? more noise? will it sound like a metal pedal after cascading?

i was thinking of building a few pedals and put them into a 19inch rack

list of pedals im going to attempt building.

sansamp gt2
tubescreamer808
supertubescreamer9
dyna compressor
blackfire
phasor (yet decided which)
tremolo (same goes for this)
metrenome.

any idea which other pedals to build
so as to make it an multi effects pedal?

how should i place them in order?

im going to build it in such a way that
i can cascade or parallize or just bybass and use only one at one time
would it be very messy? alot of switches?

the rack is going to be big
so space is not a problem
