right, i found a small noise making circuit (i found it in one of those kids electronic sets... pencil music) that i want to build up properly and use for some silly noises.

i want to add in an xlr out so i can plug it into my amp, but also an xlr out so i can plug it into a pa. anyone know how to do this? the 1/4 inch out i was intending was basically replacing the speaker with the output

any flaws in my plan (im sure there are a few) or any ideas on how to do what i intend?

i will try and get the shematic tomorrow to show  you

I wouldn't do that. That's probably gonna be too high a level for your amp input.

When you say you want XLR outputs, do you want it balanced? If not, just do the jack output and use a convertor cable, but make it short to avoid noise.

Without seeing the circuit, can't give you any specifics. Basically you want to find the output of the stage BEFORE the speaker amplifier and tap into it. Or, you need to attenuate the speaker output to a sensible level.
