does anyone know a treble booster i could build using 2n2222 or j201? those are the only ones i've got..
i'd like to make the brian may booster, but i haven't got the right transistor. there isn't one shop here where i could buy components.

it would also be nice to know if it's possible to make it boost mid's instead of treble

sorry again about my crappy english

 J. Sleep has a nice selection of boosters.
Socketted transistors [if you got e'm] because the LPB I think likes low noise transistor, and Jfets are somewhat inconsistant.
 Stratoblaster uses a Jfet.
Runoff Groove's Fetzer Valve is great and easy... close enough to no current flows through the gate of the Jfet, therefore no input DC blocking / Highpass cap is used...the [only?] way to reduce bass is with the output cap that I know of....I tried once adding the increasingly teenier input cap values on a Jfet Boost..seeemed inneffective.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Hello Hello-
Try Jack Orman's "Muffmaster" at the AMZ site.   You can increase the value of the input cap. if you want more mids.

Make a minibooster using J201's and reduce the cap between the gate and source of the top fet for a treble booster. Should sound fantastic.
