AutoTrax Traxplot under WinXP

Hi all,

Anyone else out there been tempted to switch over from EasyTrax to AutoTrax now that Protel released it as FREEWARE? I was/am.

The editor seems to run very well under WinXP at 640x480 VGA, and the features of variable track and arc width in 1 mil increments are great. Also the ability to do SMT parts on both sides of a PCB.

But Traxplot runs REALLY slow. It works, yeah, but Easytrax Traxplot doesn't take forever to show menus under WinXP like the AutoTrax version. What gives?

Anybody found a fix or work-around? Some pif something or another?

Any help much appreciated.

Turns out it just didn't like running in a window... I put it in full-screen mode and now it runs normally.
